An excellent article on advanced JCR API features
We were looking for information on Jackrabbit versioning and had a tough time finding anything - until we came across Sunil Patil's article on Advanced Java Content Repository API at OnJava. I'm linking to it in the hopes of pushing it further up Google's index so others can find it more easily.

I am also investigating on jackrabbit and jcr but I am still having problems in define its place in the whole architecture. I really recommend this page. Regards.
